Whatever happened to the OLD old stuff?

IIRC, MDC underwent some sort of change, or crash, or something, in late 2001 or early 2002, and we all had to reregister. Whatever happened to all the stuff from before that? Is it archived somewhere? I'm hoping to ttc again, and I'm really curious to see bits of my journey the first time around...

One can find old threads sometimes but the vast majority of the content from before the crash is gone.
