I am so freaking pissed right now. The wind is blowing and half of my corn stalks (about 6 feet tall) have fallen over! I have never seen this happen. Is there anything I can do? Do I have to wait out the wind, then add compost/soil and water to pack them back down? Do I need to stake each row somehow? Thsi is crazy!

OMG the same thing has happened to me this week. Good old New England wind and never ending rain has tipped over my poor stalks. Subbing to see what everyone suggests.
Thank god I'm not the only one! This is my first large garden (probably about 800 square feet) so I am really paranoid about screwing this up.

Ours falls over every year, yet is almost impossible to pull up in the fall.lol
We have propped them up with the pea fences(they usually fall down around when the peas are done). Our pea fences are more like snow fences.
They will still grow & produce corn, it may be slowed down while the stalks recover.
