If something like mandatory vaccinations happen, I told DH to go back to Germany. I'm German, DS has German and American citizenship, getting a green card for DH in Germany takes a couple of months and is no pain at all.
While Germany has an equally packed vaccination schedule, it is not mandatory for school at all. There are larger groups that don't vaccinate (hence our yearly "measels outbreaks"). I think we could find our niche there.
Overall I feel that there are less freedoms overall cause everything is overregulated, but at least when it comes to medical decisions, for now, you are free. Unfortunately they are contemplating many mandatory children check ups due to recent cases of negligence when sadly children died. It is meant well, however, the road to hell is paved with well intentions (sorry if I messed up that saying)....
Any other EU country is possible for us thanks to Schengen...
