sweet cornbread bread machine recipe?

I found a recipe for sweet cornbread made in a bread machine on hillbillyhousewife, but it's just not sweet enough. We like jiffy corn muffin mix! Since I have the bread machine, though, I'd like to use it to make the bread.

Could you just add a bit of honey to the recipe? Or eat it with honey and butter when it's served? :

Honestly, I'm not sure why you would put cornbread in a bread machine? It doesn't need to rise (at least not most recipes) and is super easy to whip together and bake in less time than the bread machine would take. Here's a couple (non-bread machine) recipes I've liked

I choose to use the bread machine because I can just dump the ingredients and press start, without having to mess with even the mixing, when there's a needy baby/husband in the next room.

Plus, we don't use our oven. We have a countertop convection oven which we use for everything from frozen pizza to casseroles to biscuits to chicken breasts, and our "big" oven is used to store baking pans, etc. So, I don't have room in the little oven for a cast iron skillet, as most cornbread recipes call for, nor room to put all the stuff that's in the big oven, so I don't usually use it unless I'm cooking many things in the oven, and it's worth hauling everything out.

My bread machine has a "quick bread" cycle, which can cook breads that don't require rising, so I think I'll try a sweet cornbread recipe on that setting. Wish me luck!
