Sylvan Belle arrived at 4:02 AM, June 22.
She is 6 lbs 14 oz, and 20 in long, so just a little thing despite waiting until 9 days after her due date to make an appearance.
Due to early rupture of membranes, meconium staining, and GBS + status, our planned homebirth became a hospital induction. I'll post my birth story in a couple days once I've had a few days to process it.
Sylvan is bright eyed and spent most of her first 24 hours awake and looking around. She's not so interested in nursing yet, but we'll get that worked out over the next little while. We are so happy to have her!
