Can I use my Wii internet channel to watch Netflix movies?

This might be a silly question, but can I use my Wii internet channel to watch the instant download movies on Netflix? We've used it to watch you tube videos before, and I was just thinking about how convenient it would be if it was compatible with Netflix. Thanks!

OMG, that would be so awesome. I wonder if it would work!! I will as DH to see if he can figure that out when he gets home...

As far as I know, you can't... yet, anyway. Xbox, yes. But not wii. My DH messed with it and looked up info and such online and came to conclusion that they were not compatible. He said something about their software possibly updating so that it would eventually be possible.

We watch youtube and I've shopped on Amazon through the wii channel, but we haven't been able to watch netflix movies on it.
