We just found a bug, and we're not sure if it's a wood weevle or a cockroach *shudder*...*to both possibilities*... and I want to know what happens when I have pest control come in. Oh god, I'm SO grossed out!!

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I think it depends on kind of bug. When the building we were living in had carpenter ants, the exterminators came out and placed sticky traps all over the building to figure out where they were living. Then they came back and sprayed the suspected nest areas via already existing holes in the wall (light switches, etc). They also come back every 2 months to spray the perimeter of the building because the ants have infested a huge old tree in front of the building that is on city property. Unless and until that tree comes down, we can only do our best to keep them out of the building. The tree is on city land and big old trees are a feature of the street, so it's not going to come down until a wind storm knocks it down as far as the city is concerned.

I think you could just go get a roach motel if you don't wanna just step on the suckers. I believe the roach motels have boric acid in them, but I'm not sure on that. Anyway, they're fairly innocuous. The company claims they're pesticide free.
Here in the South, we tie little threads around them for leashes and give them names and keep them as pets, not pests.

I'm from Canada. I'm not even bug friendly, nevermind roach friendly. It's two, now; btw.
