My poor beans- replant or lost cause?

Something has eaten up my runner beans! I have about 4 that might make it, out of the 20 or so that were planted around the bases of the two bean tee-pees. The sunflowers got a little chewed up, and there are a few holes in other things but the beans are destroyed. We sprayed with insecticidal soap, no difference. We sprayed today with a sesame oil based organic insecticide, mostly in case they decide to move on to other things. The beans are a lost cause. I think I'm seeing little tiny black fly like bugs. that are causing the damage. It is insect damage for sure.

So, is it too late to replant? I'm in zone 6 and it's 90 today, although we'll be be back in the 80's next week. And how do figure out what's eating them and keep them safe?? Poor beans!

Last year my bush beans were hit by a heavy late frost. They lost a lot of leaves but weren't quite dead so I left them. They did grow but they hardly produced any beans. I think I would have been better off pulling them and re planting.

Pretty sure it's not too late to replant, provided you figure out how to deter the pest so it doesn't happen again.

What a bummer
