Ugh. We have a cold.

My DD is sick with a bad cough, sneezing and sniffling. I've got some bad gut issues and the runs. DH is fighting off the cold and the GI bug. His mom, our biggest extended family support, has the same cold as DH. What's worse, little Fane started sneezing and coughing yesterday. Given that he's not even 4 weeks old yet, I'm worried about how he'll get through this.

Send us your "get better" vibes, m'kay?

I'm sorry to say I'm fresh out of vibes for you, I used them all up on my 3.5 weeker! My 3yo has a big mucousy bug, and managed to spread it to ALL of us. Yay.

Craziness...DD and I just went thru this a few days ago...she was sneezing/runny nose and I was quite worried about her getting really sick but somehow both of us got rid of it. I hope your germies go away soon!

Oh that's no fun!

My DH had a cold when I went into labor. A week later, I got the cold. It's one of those where the cough lingers for a long time (I still have it 3 weeks later - just random occasional cough - not bad enough to suspect anything like pneumonia). My cold included a bad sore throat for a week. I'm so thankful that Timothy seems to not have gotten it. Phew! The kids both had mild colds with this, but not as bad as DH and I.

I do NOT like stuffy noses in new babies.

Oh how funny! How are you guys doing? Ours has pretty much gone, but of course the new little guy will have some passage clearing to do for some time I'm sure. Add on top of that I spaced it and ate onions last night so he has been a tad bit stuffed up with too much gas! Ack!

Misery must love company, cause we have it too I took her to the doctor on Monday for her PKU and lo and behold, I had a cold by Wednesday afternoon. She has a stuffy nose, but hopefully won't catch the worst of it (I have a nasty cough). Bleh- not a good time to be sick!

Am I a bad mom? I can't tell if my son is sick or not, he has a mucousy nose and coughs regularly. Started on Sunday at 5 days old, so it's freaking me out because there's nothing I can do about it! I'm so worried!

We're all over it, thankfully. Only my DD and I really got it bad. The boy and my DH had only minor colds.

Akichan, take a deep breath and try not to worry too much. I'm sure he'll be okay. He'll get less snuffly whether it's a cold or not. Our little guy came out very snuffly and is still quite a noisy breather 5 weeks later.

Did anyone say it might be a dairy intolerance? The MW mentioned it to me, but it seems unlikely, in my opinion. Will this pass? How long? It's a week tomorrow.
