It is so exciting seeing all of our June babies arriving. I can't believe what an incredible blessing this pregnancy and birth has been for our family, especially with some of the thigns we have had to go through in the last year. Beatrix is such a little sweet heart, and already, as I am sure all of you can relate to, I feel like I can't remember life without her in it.
One of the most incredible parts is that my husband, who had been adamant that we were "done", is suddenly talking about how we will definitely be having more. My hearts just gushing, because I have always wanted a bigger family, but I felt like DH was right abo stopping here....I think the birthmade a huge difference for him, feeling connected to us instead of like a third wheel 9 as he would have felt in teh hosptial), basically, the midwives let him take the lead...and you should see how proud he is that he (and I) were teh first ones to lay hands on our little girl- not a dr. who didn't know or care about her. So again, to everyone who encoraged me to keep pursuing our homebirth, thank you thank you thank you- it has been an incredible blessing and healing for our family !
