felted wool longies-looking for link

I wish I could follow a pattern and knit my own but my basic knit/pearl and my tired brain can't make sense of knitting patterns. So, I was thinking I could make some using felted wool.
Would this work?
And, does anybody have a link to a good pattern?
TIA

I'm not a knitter so maybe I don't understand the question - but if you take felted wool (from a sweater or such) you can make a soaker.....

http://hyenacart.com/FernandFaerie/index.php?c=10 (Some patterns are free others cost a bit)

Is this what you meant????

Good luck!

That's exactly what I meant.
I'm going to give it a try. Thanks.

There are some patterns listed in the diaper making section, but if you get some recycled wool sweaters, you can make a soaker and pants, too from the same sweater, depending on the size.

Cut off the sleeves, borrow a pair of your kids pants that fit well and fold in half so you can trace the shape of the crotch. Sew to gether. Then you can either leave extra at the top to add elastic (depending on the length of the sleeves), or you can use the binding on the sweater to use for the waist.

Anyway, if you want a tut with pics and all, google it or check the patterns!
