I'm not sure where to post this. My doctor told me that my ultrasound (20 weeks pregnant) revealed 3 venous lakes in the placenta. Then he said that it's not a big deal.
Is that true? Why did he tell me this when I have no idea what they are? Are they really harmless? We're thinking about having a homebirth this time as we did last time. Do venous lakes make any difference whatsoever?
