Fruit kabobs
Hamburgers (we eat them without buns anyway)
potatoes and carrots roasted in foil on the grill with butter, onions
raw milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup and egg yolk popsicles
flourless chocolate brownies (I use coconut flour)
cheese cubes

Sounds like fun!

Yum!! What fun ideas!!! Meatballs are an especially good idea - they can be made ahead & eaten with fingers! Woop!

My daughter loves kebabs. Her combo is chunks of meat with pineapple. What's not to love? I skewer them & marinade them the day before grilling.

Do you have an ice cream maker? An ice cream party would be fun... might be too pricey for a crowd considering the cost of cream, but most of us ladies & kids love ice cream!

Fruit salad is ALWAYS awesome. My kid, for some reason, will eat way more fruit if it's "fun" - I'm always using my melon baller

Have fun! Post your menu when you're done!

-tiny meatballs on toothpocks
-potato pizzas (slice potato into small, thin discs, bake on an oiled pan for 20-30 minutes, put sauce, veggies and cheese on top, plus any other toppings, cook 10 more min.)--grainfree/no soaking needed, and they are bite-sized!
-anything w/ a yogurt dip (fruit, veggies)
-homemade kefir/coconut milk/yogurt popsicles (sweeten w/ stevia/honey/maple syrup. etc)
-stevia sweetened lemonade http://www.thenourishinggourmet.com/...-lemonade.html
-hummus w/ veggies
-corn chips w/ lacto-fermented salsa? (not sure how tf the corn chips are
-black bean dip w/ french fries--both homemade (sometimes I mix any salsa w/ black beans, cumin and chili powder and it's delicious! Ds loves dipping fries in it)
-TF cookies http://www.mothering.com/discussions...+coconut+flour
-deviled eggs (yum!)
-coconut flour cake/cupcakes http://www.nourishingdays.com/?p=707

HTH!

thanks for the great ideas! i would like to make all or most of the food ahead of time. i was already tempted to serve homemade popsicles instead of cake, and it would be easier too. but i did find this great sounding recipe for orange coconut cake. yum.

here's what i'm thinking so far:
popsicles (coconut milk or yogurt)
lemonade with stevia (any ideas on how to make it pink or other fun color?)
popcorn (i put this in the 'goodie' bags last year and it was a hit)
meatballs sound like a good idea, i could even make these way ahead of time and freeze
dipping sauce of some kind ??? gravy maybe?
deviled eggs
fruit salad
veggies with dip
that sounds like enough, though those potato pizzas sound good. i may do a dry run with those, and if they're not too time consuming do those too.

You could add raspberries to the lemonade to make it pink. When I thaw frozen berries I get so much juice--doesn't take much to turn things very pink.

I think the menu sounds yummy! And I've made the orange cake linked above and it's DELICIOUS! You can also make it w/ lemon instead and add lemon extract (just fyi--yummy!) Also, I usually make my baked goods in cupcake form and am very successful in freezing them, and then thawing before serving (although it's so yummy to cut into and eat a warm cake!) May be helpful if you're trying to make everything in advance...

Good luck! Let us know how the party goes!
