Want to try it with me? Its free! Just email support@boyoragirl.com and answer the questions listed here in your email:

All he asks is that you email him back after you find out for his research. He has a pretty cool story about how he developed his system.

Not yet. I just emailed him right before I posted my message. From what I've read, at most it should take a day or two for him to get back with you.

So any of you had any follow ups to this?

I'm confused by question #1 and #2. Isin't the first day of your last menustral cycle the same things as your LMP?

We have not yet decided whether or not to go ahead with u/s so we'll see.

He responded back by telling me his prediction is for a GIRL based on my cycle being 31 days. If I had my usual 28 day cycle, that would change his predication to BOY. We'll see if he's right in 1.5 week.

It's based on the days in your cycle? That must mean it relies on ovulation...what day did you ovulate or coceive, do you know? Because your due date is 1 day after me! That might put me close to you...I am so curious!

If that is true and he's assuming I BDed on day 14 than he's wrong. We didn't BD or conceive until the day after ovulation which would make it more likely to be a boy. LOL

Well you can only get pregnant on ovulation day can't you?
I'm confused :
What is "BD"?

Baby dance...i.e gettin' it on.

An egg can live up 24-36 hours I do believe so it is possible to ovulate, have sex, and catch it within that time frame. Easier to conceive before hand than after but not impossible.

I probably provided too much info. LOL. We'll see what he says.

No. This baby was conceived either 10 days before ovulation or 4 days after. I'm absolutely certain of O date- but it's possible that there were two eggs. Everything I've read suggests that the second egg is normally released 24 hours or less after the first, though.

BD = Baby Dance or having sex. It is possible for the egg to live 12-24 hours after ovulation. When using NFP for avoidance, they suggest you wait at least 48 hours after ovulation to resume sex to ensure the egg(s) has expired. We normally wait the 2 days after, but this cycle it took me 3 days longer to ovulate and we got impatient. There is a less than 10% chance of conceiving the day after ovulation. We underestimated our fertility. Should have known better. LOL

Those scenarios would be biologically difficult. Sperm normally lives only 2-3 days after ejaculation. In a perfect lab environment sperm has been known to live up to 7 days, but since most women's bodies are not perfect lab environments the typical 2-3 days is more likely. The egg survives for approximately 12-24 hours after ovulation. It is true that you can have multiple ovulation within 24 hours. That is why NFP suggests waiting at least 48 hours after ovulation to resume sex if avoiding. So technically you could be fertile for up to 48 hours after the first ovulation if there is a multiple ovulation. Maybe you ovulated later than you thought.
