Need a rec for tongue tie clipping

I'm in SLC, but we are willing to travel. It appears that dd may have a posterior tongue tie, and currently can't really nurse at all. Everyone we've found to do it is back east. Is there anyone that's dealt with this in the area? Thanks for any help at all!

Thanks, I hadn't thought of calling them. I used to take the boy I nanny'd to Dr Lam. I did call my dentist and he's interested in reading literature on it and seeing pics of dd's tongue, so hopefully he will end up being comfortable doing it (I know he does children and adults, not sure about babies though)

Just in case anyone in the future needs this, oral surgeon Dr Wade Peers in SLC agreed to clip dd's tongue despite the fact that he'd never done a tiny baby (the youngest had been 1 yr). He did it in the office, dh held her, he used a little shot of novocaine and while there was a lot of blood it stopped as soon as she nursed and now she can actually nurse! He was great and even called that night to see how she was doing, and then his receptionist called the next day just to check up. I would definitely recommend him!

We had my son done by an ENT in AZ. He was 5 so they did him under general for like 5 min. sutured and all. Worked great, but his tongue is verrry small cuz we waited so long. He is deaf so as far as speach, we were'nt too worried. Done for eating purposes as well. Hows your baby now? That is great you found someone so caring to do it! And I love Dr Holbrook at Alpine. My gyn is there also. I had a hysterectomy by her recently and she was above and beyond awesome, even calling me every nite while i was in the hossie lol. The pedi is just as wonderful. Got the rec here and I thank the mama for that!!! Great practice!!!
