how do you find a broken felting needle tip...

in a piece of foam? DD had two needles break today thanks to younger ds & I found the first piece but not the 2nd so far. I used a piece of tupperware lid to squish down the foam until I felt the needle. It's not working for the 2nd piece.

Any ideas? TIA.
