Breaths per min for preemies

I have been googling a lot and can't find whats the "norm" breaths per min for a preemie???

I think it was 60-100 per minute? I can't remember...

My baby boy is currently in the NICU and the literature that they gave me said normal breaths per minute should be between 40 and 60. The nurses don't like to see them go over 70.
