Help me clean this stain....PLEASE!

While visiting my niece last weekend my dd decided that she would write on her Rosepetal Cottage with a dry erase marker : My niece who is 4 was not amused. We tried the following to get it out: hairspray, nail polish, windex. My sil said it was no big deal, the stain is on the back by the wall, but I feel really bad because my niece was upset.

WHAT gets this ink out without damaging the fabric? The fabric is the sort used on tents.

ANY help or recommendations would be great! Thanks in advance!

Have you tried Magic Eraser? How about Shout or Tide wipes?

try rubbing alcohol. That is what is in the stuff that they sell to clean the dry earase boards off.

I was thinking a long the line of shout or spray and wash too since it's fabric.

Thanks I will pass these ideas on to SIL, she lives 6 hours from me so I can't go and try them all myself or I would. I will be back to let you know if/what worked. Thanks so much!

This stuff will get it out. I've never seen anything like it. It take black sharpie out of light-colored clothing. HTH!
