I have had 1-2 red spots in my episodomy/torn area for a couple of wks now. At first, I thought they were just stitches that had not totally come out yet but now they are bigger and the 1 seems to move a bit when I spray the area with water. The 2nd spot more towards the back was there then seemed to go away but this morning I noticed the 2nd spot was back.
I had bright red blood in the episodomy/torn area last Sat. and Sun. and thought maybe I was about to pop open back there since my tearing went all the way back and the OB on call for my OB sort of scared me about opening up though I was already doing everything she already said. I did start taking more softners bc my OB practice just that past wk had told me to decrease what I was taking bc I had given myself the runs. Well, I started taking more according to the box and then I ended up giving myself the runs again for 2.5 days so I decreased the softners again bc I always had to go it felt like.
I was told not to strain and pretty sure I was not since it was just coming out of me. My 6 wk appt is July 6 and my OB is finally back in his office tomorrow according to his answering service (on vacation).
Could these be hemroids? If not, then what?
