April – have you still been experiencing headaches from the follistim?

Furrow – your man’s swimmers sound gold medal worthy. I hope you are the third pregtastic patient at your doc’s practice. We triggered on a Tues. night and basted Wed and Thurs. but I didn’t feel ovulation pain until Thurs. Your big egg probably went first and I bet the little one got bigger and then popped out the next day.

Kelly – I’m sorry AF found you. Good luck next cycle I hope the injectable meds do the trick for you.

Laura – I hope your acupuncturist can help get your cycles back on track. You’re brave to go to Cancun in August. I only go to Mexico when it’s cold here on the East Coast and we have to get warm.

Sarah – good luck tomorrow. What is a cryotank?

AFM – I’m 7dpo today and just waiting to see what happens. I had some really sore boobs for a few days but I think that was just the trigger shot bc the soreness has gone away. DH and I are trying to figure out if we’ll do IUI again next cycle or go straight to IVF. We don’t have to make a decision right away bc I have to take a break next cycle. I’ll be on BCP once AF shows up.

We are headed out of town this weekend for a couple weeks. We are visiting friends in Connecticut, Cape Cod, Nantucket and Boston. I love New England and I especially love it there in the summer.

OK - I have to vent! We changed up our plan this cycle and reduced the Femara and added Follistim. I went in this AM for my US/BW. The US showed on folicile at 15mm. I am on day 10 and in the past that is the day they have done all the U/S. The 1st IUI we had 1 folicile at 17 and one at 16. The 2nd IUI we had two folliciles 18 & 17 mm. So, I am a little taken back that with the stronger meds I didn't respond as well. I am really starting to think this is not in the card for us. I am waiting on the results from the blood work to know what else we are doing this cycle... ugh!

Hilarigh - have a great trip, I also love New England, wish I lived there. A cryotank is a small tank filled with liquid nitrogen that hold the frozen vial of donor sperm - which we are using.

Well, actually, I should say USED. We did our ICI this morning, it was really a little harrowing. But, it's done.

Please move me to the TWW?

I can't believe this...I am freaking truly and legimately PREGNANT!!!

Holy crap...I'm shaking...I'm so happy and excited. This can't be real.

I'm 10 dpo today. It's no question. The lines are faint(ish) but clearly there, there's no denying. And there is certainly no denying the very clear "Yes +" sign on the digital!!::::::: ::

I KNOW I wasn't supposed to test, but I'm going to be out of town on the day of my beta (and a few days before and after) and I just couldn't wait until I got BACK...I'm trying to be patient here, but that's ridiculous!!

I can't believe I'm telling you all before my husband!! He's at work and I don't want to tell him over the phone, so I have to share it...

AAAAAHHHHH!!! The IUI actually worked...we're PREGNANT!! (Now we'll just have to see with how many!)

Aprilmom: that must be so frustrating to have a lesser response on the stronger drugs. I'm hoping you have some third time magic, anyway. When are you doing the IUI.

Sarahcecile -- Fingers crossed that your eggie and those sperm are having a party right now.

hilarigh -- enjoy your trip! Sounds wonderful. We are heading to the mountains this weekend which will make the last few days of my TWW a little easier, I hope.

I'm 6 dpo today, and although I've had convincing "symptoms" in past BFN months, the early symptoms this month take the cake. My bbs are sore beyond anything normal for me so early before AF, and I had wicked cramps yesterday and have had slight cramps for several days including today. I'm a little worried that AF will just end up coming super early like last month, but my temps are still high and my bbs and cramps feel different somehow. Oh, this TWW stuff is just so cruel. I know the hcg is still in me from the shot becuase I've been doing an hpt every few days to test it out, so I guess it could be from that. But a lot of people I know online are getting bfps this month (hey claire!), so I'm hoping to ride that wave.

Feeling dumb

I was having such strong pg symptoms for the past week, but now I'm telling myself that it was all just the hcg shot. How stupid can I be? Of course the pregnancy hormone is going to make you feel pregnant! I'm still cramping today, but it feels so much like AF, and I'm having loose stools, just like before AF. I'm only 7 dpo, and my temps are still high, but now i'm worried I'll have another extremely short LP like last time. Oh, yeah, and I'm feeling really low, just like before AF.

Of course, the month I was pg with DD, I was absolutely certain I was going to start AF any minute, so I should know by now that you just can't know anything until AF is late AND you get a +. I'm so glad we're going away this weekend. I'd like to know something before we go so that I can either celebrate or nurse my sorrows with lots of wine.

IUI ladies

Thanks so much for the heartfelt congratulations!! I had more excitement about telling you all then I did my husband!! (Kidding...sort of! ) I just think we all get what a BFP means so much more then most men, despite how much they want a baby...you know?

I've spent yesterday and today on pins & needles, because I'm so afraid this is going to go away. : So far, the tests are darkening (my FRER is so dark today it's almost as dark as the control line!! And that was with mid-afternoon pee!!)

I went for my beta this morning, 11dpo. Just got the call that my hcg level is 61, and progesterone is 101.

So both numbers are very good and strong. Of course, the real test is in whether or not they double, so my : fingers, toes, eyes and ears are crossed waiting for Thursday...but until then, I choose to put my fears aside and ENJOY this pregnancy. :

I'll post again when I have my Thursday beta results. Until then, I'm keeping track of you ladies...can't wait to see the BABY BOOM that is getting ready to explode here on this board!! I can taste it!!

Furrow 7 dpo is so early...I had a SNOW WHITE BFN on 8 dpo, and then a clear-as-day BFP on 10 dpo (didn't test at 9 dpo, but my guess is it would have been ) So try to keep your spirits up...I've got : for you... (and no, I don't think you missed a single dancing icon in your reply to me... Thanks for all the dancing veggies!!)

Aprilmom Sorry to hear that you're not having the best response to the drugs...I know how expensive it gets. : Are the docs giving you the idea or hope that as the meds increase, so will the follicular response? Hang in there...

Yes - the idea with the stronger meds we more and larger follicles. We had the same number and smaller. So, we waited almost another week, did more follistim and my trigger on Monday night. So, our IUI was this morning. While I am still hopeful, I am thinking this is the end for us. Dh's sperm was only 4 million after the wash and his forward movment was 2.5 - which they had as 'poor'. I have been period like crampy since the prodedure (about 3 hours ago) but no 'ovulation' type cramps... but I am not sure if they feel any different then period like cramps... sorry I am ramblining...

Aprilmom This has been such a rotten month for you. I hope that you are pleasantly shocked with a BFP. I had period type cramping, but more intense than usual and located around at my sides and back, a few hours after my IUI. I hope that was ovulation, though I actually had more typical ovulation-type pains in the days following.

This has been the longest, most confounding TWW ever. I'm 8 dpo and 9 days past my trigger and I'm still getting faint positives on hpts. I was hoping that by this point they would have cleared out so that I could know some truth by about 10 or 11 dpo. I'm having really convincing symptoms, but I don't know whether they're real or caused by the hcg shot and the progesterone supps that I started a few days ago. I have felt like there was something magical about this month and catch myself thinking that I AM pregnant, so I'm setting myself up for one fantastic fall if it's not the case.

April - don't lose hope! You never know what kind of surprises are waiting for you.

Furrow - stay positive. Maybe the lines won't go away altogether but will start getting darker.

claire - great numbers congratulations!!: I hope you have a sticky little bean in there.

AFM - Just dropping in while on vacay to post our amazing news. I tested this morning, 13dpo, and got a very very dark BFP. We were worried that it would still be the trigger so we called our RE and he said at 15dptrigger it's out out out and we are indeed pregnant! I never thought this cycle would work. DH's sample was so bad I had just given up hope and was already planning on IVF next time around. We are so happy to be pregnant. The news is still sinking in and it's hard to get too excited bc it is so early and anything can happen but think I'll feel better next week when we get home, get the bood work done and go see the RE for an u/s. :::::::

I'm so happy to see some BFPs here... since I joined this thread I haven't seen any so this is promising news... I hope the trend continues.

I'm having my IUI tomorrow. It's really bad timing as I had some meetings planned at work but I told some people at work that I had a doctors appointment that I just found out about that I could not reschedule and they understood.

I'm not sure what's wrong with me but I'm very skeptical this cycle. This will be our 3rd IUI and on the first 2 I was inseminated on day 12 so I was very surprised that it was not day 12 this time, but day 13. When you do you ladies inseminate after a LH surge is detected. They found it in my blood today and I'm being inseminated tomorrow, does that make sense? I guess I need to go with the fact that they are the experts.

I scheduled a followup appointment with the RE... you need to do that after your 3rd IUI so they can reevaluate the plan of action... I really want this to work, I wish I could figure out it out...

Kelly -- I've never had luck with OPKs. I don't ever seem to get a +, but you are supposed to O the day after the surge, so that sounds just right to have your IUI tomorrow. Good luck! Let's keep up the streak!

Furrow: the LH surge was detected in my bloodwork so I hope the timing is correct... it was also detected in my 2 previous cycles that weren't successful I'm feeling some ovulation pain this morning so I hope the timing is good (approx. 2 hours until I get inseminated).

I agree with you that I hope the streak of BFPs continues.

Hello! Anyone out there? Or have you all gotten BFPs?

Sarah: This will be the first month I haven't charted in nearly 2 years... not sure what happened but I didn't really feel like it... I think the timing is good but I have read others here state that they waited for 36 hours after the LH surge was detected.

I guess I just need to hope for the best at this point. My RE reevalates people after 3 IUIs so I guess I have an appointment scheduled if it isn't successful.

Kelly- I've heard 24-36 hours is the best for the average woman, but who knows.

I will definitely keep my fingers crossed for you! And I totally hear you on the charting, I stop charting as soon as I get my 3 day temp. shift. Especially because I am taking progesterone and I know that the temps may reflect the progesterone, and not a pregnancy, yk?

AFM: lots of symptoms that problem mean nothing. Crazeee nipple twinges. Crazy.
