July IUI - Page 8

Hi everyone. I've been out of town (and still am) so i've been out of touch, but I think I may have a bfp. I've been testing out the trigger since 6 dpo, and it never went away entirely, but in the last few days it has gotten a tiny bit darker. I'm 13 dpo and 14 days past trigger. I won't be able to have a beta until Wednesday, and I won't completely believe it until then, but i'm feeling pretty sure. What do you think? Could I get a false positive 14 days past trigger? I'll call my dr office tomorrow on my official, good-girl-who-waited test day.

Definite BFP today :

Beta tomorrow, I guess. Got message back from nurse, and she was excited, but didn't really tell me to come. I'm driving up there and I figure they can easily do a beta, right?

This pregnyl stuff was such a stresser. Never got a negative, but two days ago the line started getting a little darker and today, 14 dpo, it was much darker.

So far, August is looking good for bfps. I hope we keep it going and get one for everyone on this board.

YEA!!! What awesome news!!!

Watch out...there's a baby boom on EVERY TTC board I've seen on MDC. Here they come ladies...brace yourselves!!:

Thanks to you all for the kind congrats. I'm trying to be really relaxed about this, but there's always a bit of fear. I just got my beta results. At 15 dpo, my hcg is 109 and my progesterone is 25. Those numbers are just fine, though I do see people with much higher hcg at this point. That's all pretty comparable to this point with dd, though, so I guess that's how my body rolls. Slow and steady.

I don't think there is any plan for a second beta, but I'll probably do an hpt in a few days to see that it's still nice and dark.

Claire, you're right about that baby boom. It's not just on MDC, either. Weird. Let's keep it going.

Hi Everyone! I am new to this forum. DH and I have been TTC#1 for 3 years. We are doing our first IUI this month. I am on Clomid 100mg for the 1st time and have an ultrasound tomorrow to see the follicles. I am also supposed to have a trigger shot. I am very hopeful!

Congrats to all the BFPs! : I hope the luck and blessings fall all the way around for everyone trying. What a long road this has been.

Hi everyone! I was wondering if I could join up too... I've been on Clomid for the past six cycles, and now my OB wants to try an IUI cycle w/Clomid next cycle while I wait for my referral with the RE to go through... It's so exciting to see all the BFP's in here- I'm thinking this is the good luck thread!!!

Ok - I am supposed to test on Wed... but having a hard time waiting! Part of me whants to get it over with and part of me never wants to test... holding on to that little piece of hope. (since this is our last IUI and we are not doing IVF) I guess the good news is I am traveling for work - so there is plenty to take my mind of this... ugh!

Hang in there aprilmom! Wednesday will be here soon! I truly hope you get your BFP.

My test day is Thursday.

Thank you for the welcomes.

Welcome Jelinifer!

Looking forward to all of your updates on testing Kelly and Aprilmom!

I had my IUI yesterday with 2 follies over 20 and 1 over 14. I had my HCG shot Monday. The IUI went really well as I didn't know what to expect since it was my first. Just a little uncomfortable but not painful. My Dr. was happy and said we timed it perfectly because my cervix was open and a ton of cm so yay! I was crampy after and that lasted throughout the night and today also. Now the 2ww begins.

Take care everyone

Well ladies, the test was negative. I am having a hard time working through this so I think I am going to take a break here. I whish you all the luck in your journey!!

aprilmom: I'm so sorry I'm sure this must be a very difficult time. Please take care of yourself.

My 3rd IUI was negative as well. Going back to the RE to reevaluate our plan. I'm very discouraged but I hope after tomorrow I will have some renewed hope. Why does this need to be so difficult?

Winter33: good luck! sounds like your IUI went well! how are things?

I am so so sorry about the BFNs. I completely understand how difficult it is and discouraging. After going through it for 3 years now, the emotional roller coaster gets to me, but I want it so bad that I keep pressing on somehow. Sometimes I do wonder how long I can take it though. Sending both of you hugs and comfort.

I am just hanging out and waiting. I am on cd 23 so I can test in about 6 days. I have been having mild cramping every day since the IUI and my nipples are the most sensitive they have ever been and erect all the time (so embarrassing) but I know the meds can cause that so I can't get excited about it. Bummer. Just such a strange thing! I have a cyst on my right side that my Dr said wouldn't interfere with IUI success but it is bothering me and I can't help but feel like it could have gotten in the way somehow. Oh well, we will just see.

Hang in there everyone.
