Hi Becky: keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Hilary: I hope the approval comes soon. I know the waiting game is no fun. I just wish IUI would be covered for us--only testing and monitoring.

I got bloodwork done last cycle and that indicated the LH surge was starting. So they scheduled the IUI for the following morning. I assume that is appropriate timing... but I see that some of you waited 2 days after start of LH surge. I don't know. I guess I need to trust my RE.

I am going in tomorrow for bloodwork and to check on how the follicles are growing.

Nothing to report! CD 12 b/w and u/s on Sunday, and otherwise.... just trying to pass the time until then.

It's so boring waiting for the next attempt!

Claire I am sorry to hear about the 2 m/c but now that they figured out the problem I'm sure everything will work out great. My sis-in-law had to take lovenox too for a clotting disorder, and once she did she had a beautiful baby boy. Good luck.

Furrow good luck, can't wait to hear about your BFP.

I'm still trying to be positive but I was hoping for some implantation bleeding today, but nothing...hope time goes by a little faster

Sounds promising!! How many DPIUI are you that you are expecting implantation bleeding? Just because you don't get it doesn't mean that you are not PG!! Fingers crossed for you!

Whatever it takes to have a baby, right?

Anyway, after discovering the blood clotting disorder, they also discovered hubby has very low morphology, so we decided to go with IUI. Clomid does nothing for me, since I ovulate naturally one egg per month and Clomid doesn't increase the number of eggs (for me) so we're moving forward with injectables.

I'm nervous but excited...maybe something will FINALLY work?!?! I'd love to have a living breathing baby, and also have the experience of a pregnancy that doesn't end in miscarriage.

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you ladies.

I hate the waiting game. Do you generally have long cycles?

I went in for b/w and u/s today (day 10) and have 2 follicles growing on the right side (17 and 16 mm). So I am getting close to iui day... last cycle I was 16 mm on day 10 and 20 mm on day 11 with LH surge showing on bloodwork on day 11... so I figure things are progressing the same way. The only thing is my lining was only 5 mm today but the RE said that could change over night... on day 11 last time it was 7 mm... so hopefully the lining in getting thicker today! I think they want 8-10 mm at ovulation time.

Becky: I'm hope things are happening as I write this message and you will get your BFP soon enough. I know what you mean though, last cycle was my first IUI and while I was positive about it I was discouraged because I didn't heave any signs/symptoms.

Good luck Kelly. When did you stop going in every other day for b/w and u/s and start going daily? Do they decide to test you daily when your follies get to be about the right size? Are you thinking that Saturday will be IUI day? I'll send good thoughts your way.

Hilarigh: thanks for the good vibes. This is my second IUI cycle and I've gone daily since day 10 both times... well actually just day 10 and day 11 last time and then the IUI on day 12. I assume it's because things are getting close and they don't won't be miss the correct time for the IUI.... so once you get close you go every day, which for me is from the beginning, becuase on day 10 I'm almost there.

I guess I'll know better after tomorrow but I figure it will be Saturday or Sunday.

I am sooooo over this progesterone. My friend said first thing this morning, "oh wow your face is really full, are you taking those meds again?" This crampy feeling sucks, my nipples hurt and I wish I could just throw up already. If I had to guess what pregnancy symptoms were I would assume it's close to that. How is everyone else? I really want my signature to have one of those cute little pregnancy calendar/counters

I completly understand. While my symptoms are not as strong as yours - I could feel myself getting bloated the first day on progesterone!!

Your symptoms sound very promising though!

Becky: I'm on progesterone for the first time this month. So far (at 4 dpo), I just feel really tired. And mellow. The mellowness is kind of nice. I tend to be uptight.

aprilmom: Where are you in the 2ww? I tried to go back and figure it out, but I'm getting lost.

NEED ADVICE PLEASE

So I had 2 follicles on the left side the day of the trigger 18 and 21mm. Now that I am 7DPIUI I think I have a GIANT cyst. When I lay flat I can see and feel a huge bulge on the left side. It hurts went I gently press on it. It feels like the size of a golf ball but not as hard. Nothing on the right, flat and soft. Does this mean the follicle didn't release the egg and it turned into a cyst? Could one of the follicles release and the other is a cyst?

For whatever reason I have always been in tune with my body. I new 12 years ago it would be hard to get pregnant. I just "sensed" it. Now during the past 4 cycles I feel like the follicles just don't release. I dont know why I think that I just do. This cyst seems to prove my theory right.

Any one have any advice? Or know more about cysts and the process? I literally feel green right now

I am 4 DPIUI? I had my IUI on Monday - so I don't know if you consider that day 1 or Tuesday? - I am to take a hpt on Monday the 27th.

I am sorry hun, I don't have any answers! I thought I had a cycst last cycle because like you I was soooo sensitive. I didn't even want to wear pants. Did you have a trigger shot? I think it can take up to 10 days for that to be out of your system, so maybe you are still feeling the effects of that? I would call your doctor though and run through your symptoms with them. They might want you to come in and see?? I hope that it is not a cyst and that everything is normal.

Well, I told you all that they put me on Prozac. I think that for me that was what I needed. However, this cycle I feel numb to the process. I don't have any hopes or sadness... and I am not trying to figure every little symptom out. It is kind of a nice relief. I am feeling kinda tired from the progesterone and bloated but those have been my only symptoms!
