I'm not sure I could survive w/o coffee!!

My kids usually drink water or milk or nothing. Very occasionally we buy orange juice.

I'm not against juice.I mean, it's not the healthiest beverage and it can be filling -leaving less room for food (same w/milk). We just don't buy it very often because my kids are not big juice drinkers.

Coffee for me.

Chocolate milk for my toddler.

Water for the baby (he still nurses, too).

--I'm not against juice, I just rarely buy it. I'm cheap. LOL. And, so, in our house, it's seen as a Friday night sort of treat, not as a regular breakfast beverage. That's all.

I don't know about other people, but for me I don't want my kids or myself getting all that sugar without any of the fiber. In our house we eat the whole fruit. I never buy juice except for parties, so that is a couple of times a year. But, I always have a ton of fruit in the house and everyone has fruit for breakfast.

Water for me.

Dd gets a choice of water, milk, juice or nothing. What she chooses varies. A lot of times she doesn't want a drink with breakfast.

My son usually drinks milk, and sometimes my husband's vanilla soy milk as a treat. I drink milk if I'm eating cereal, or have a V8.

DH and me: Fresh veggie juice (whatever we have fresh. . .usually carrots, daikon, burdock, tomatoes, celery); then maybe coffee if we are in the mood (we aren't everyday coffee drinkers, but most days we have it)

DD: Acerola cherry juice with greens powder (this is the only time our children get store bought juice in our home, when they drink their greens. . .well, DS won't drink greens so he doesn't get any juice); water

DS: water

we also fill thermoses for all of us every morning with water that we carry around with us and sip on throughout the day

A green smoothie for all of us. I don't like coffee!

As for juice, I just don't think my toddler needs sugary juice. I use my juicer often, so he gets freshly juiced veggies and fruits, and "fruit juice" as a treat, but it's not on the menu.
