we have like 10lbs of peas from our garden! Can I just freeze them whole? I plan to toss them into stir fry, etc..

I have been I rinse, chop the tips off and stick on a cookie sheet in the freezer then into bags (that way I can grab a handful instead of having to dethaw the whole bag

I do. I usually remove the ends and strings. I do think that they retain their color and texture better if you blanch them before freezing, so I do that, then freeze them on a cookie sheet covered in waxed paper. Once they're frozen, I put them in an airtight container and label it.

Def. blanch them in salt water first. Then shock in an ice bath.
