I finally found crystal deodorant at the comissary!

so...I was just finishing up my shopping, and cut through the pet supplies aisle at our teeny tiny commissary in housing, and happened to see a hanging display of something labeled as an animal deodorant. Since we have a litterbox in the house, I stopped to look, and lo and behold it was a mineral crystal! The directions on it said to place it anywhere there is a stink, and rinse every 8 weeks or so. I feel kind of weird putting something that had a picture of a cat and dog on the packaging on my armpit, but oh well! The most ironic thing about it is I had just given up and ordered a crystal from mountainroseherbs just last week.

moral of the story: browse every aisle at your favorite stores once in awhile. You might be surprised what you find and where it is located within the store!

I tried that crystal deoderant and I thought it worked really well for a little while but either it stopped working (had a BO smell that I couldn't get out of it w/soap or anything else) or the weather got too hot and it doesn't work as well for me in hot weather.

IDK, I have read the threads here about deoderant and I feel like I can't make the change. I need to commit to trying everything else until I can get rid of my yucky aluminum antiperspirant. It's the only unnatural thing I use on my body and I hate it, but I just can't resign myself to being stinky and sweaty (esp in the desert summers).
