Doubler/Insert Questions

Thread Starter
I am looking for something to place inside my LO's AIO's for more absorbency. I am wondering what is the difference between the two products. Also, what is the best material to buy? I have gathered that mf and hemp can get stinky, which is the last thing I want. Is organic cotton the best or something else?

Thanks!

Cotton or bamboo would both be good options. I happen to love hemp and haven't had stink problems at all, so i wouldnt' rule it out altogether.

Lets see: I'd say - all doublers could be used as inserts (like in a pocket diaper), but not all inserts can be used as doublers. Microfiber is the only one I can think of. Microfiber should never be used next to baby's skin. Besides that, I don't think it matters. The purpose is just to add absorbancy, so you can use whatever you want for that purpose. Some doublers will have a special top layer, like velour or fleece, to put next to the skin, but that's just a matter of preference.

I like hemp too, but I love bamboo as another option. It's absorbant and very soft.
