Hi all,

I've been cloth diapering for years but this is the first time (and first child - #4) I've run into this. He is almost 2.5 and he is such a heavy wetter that the dipes that got us through (even with another kid until almost 4!) are now just not cutting it. I thought maybe they had build-up but I don't think so because they don't smell and they are truly soaked (I stripped them anyways - no change). Within an hour and a half of putting them on, they're leaking out the sides and running down his legs. We use MEOS with the snap-in liners and mostly Airflow covers; at night I use Sandies, w/liner, hemp doubler and sometimes prefold wrapped around the whole thing plus wool. I used to exclusively use wool covers because he has sensitive skin but he started peeing through those first so now I use mostly my stash of airflows but he's now peeing through those too!!

I bought an introductory pack from ME with the Toddlease size and it was awesome. But I can't imagine buying a whole new stash now. I don't have high hopes of him being potty trained any time soon as he is just starting to get the hang of peeing on the potty but sheesh - I don't want to use disposables for the next 6-12 months either! Of course, his skin can only tolerate 7th generation and I really can't fathom paying those prices for the next year.

Does anyone have any ideas? He's always been a heavy wetter but we kept up well with the ME stuff. I do have a few Bella Bottoms but those have pretty much the same result, even with the doublers in them. Help!!
