i made some raw butter about 6 weeks ago and have just discovered one pack left in the back of the fridge. it dosn't smell bad it looks very yellow and there's not mold on it although it dosn't look fresh like when i made it. so is it ok to still eat or does it go off after a couple of weeks? anyone know? thanks...

You could always try tasting it if you're worried and brave. I wouldn't personally worry about it though.

Otherwise just use it in cooking.

Sounds fine to me. My butter goes off quicker if I didn't do a good job of pressing out the buttermilk and thoroughly rinsing/washing it in cold water.

Like the PP said, just use it in cooking if you don't feel comfortable consuming it raw.
