I feel like a new mom all over again! Okay, any suggestions? She eats dinner before 5 pm and no water after that. She does get treats (pieces of kibble) here and there after that as rewards, not a ton, probably less than 5 pieces. We put her to bed (crate) at 10 pm after her last trip to the backyard...she is VERY tired and likely could go to bed at 9 pm instead (we've been waking her to go out one more time). She's pretty much settled into a routine waking around 4:30 am needing to go outside. (yes, I realize the amazing accomplishment that she is already housetrained in one week!). So, the problem is (aside from that either Dh or I have to get up at 4:30 am to take her out) is that she seems to have felt like she had a 6 hour nap and wants to be up for the day. She's getting used to that we're putting her back in her crate, keeping lights low (again - deja vu with my first!) and making a fuss for a shorter and shorter amount of time about going back to bed (I think it was about 5-10 seconds just now).

The woman she came from said they (the litter) slept from 10 pm - 6 am, but I am wondering if maybe she had piddle pads in their crates at night or something? Any suggestions? She is 13 weeks old and a standard poodle.

Thanks!
