how difficult were they? I am a very new knitter but am so BORED with dishcloths. I have some orange yarn, I was thinking about making some carrots and maybe some other play food for my ds. Any tips would be helpful. TY!

I made them a couple of years ago as a baby shower gift--they weren't too hard, just a little fiddly in parts. I did them on dpn's as at the time I had not yet learned the miracle that is Magic Loop--if I did them again, I'd definitely Magic Loop them.

ok I found a youtube about magic loop. I have circular needles so I'm going to do it that way...now I just have to figure out how to read the pattern...

Good luck! I did mine with sugar'n'cream or whatever it is--dishcloth cotton. Cheap and lots of colors--they were a big hit at the baby shower.

I use Magic Loop for most things, but when they're really small, I still think that dpn's are easier.
