Next question: what are some ways to get a 6mo to poop? He's on lots of solids (was screaming and grabbing for food, couldn't handle slow introduction, and he eats a LOT ), and with my latest messed-up-ed-ness, it sure would be nice to clear him out a bit faster.

Any favorite brands of glutathione? What's UNDA? Which cell salts?

designs for health is my favorite glutathione. Crazy expensive, but awesome.

UNDA is seroyal...great company that does UNDA numbers (which are a branch of homeopathy, basically....great stuff.) I also use BestMade which I am finding to be just as awesome.

Cell salts will vary depending on symptoms. Everyone needs slightly different combinations. We can figure you out though. I'd start with calc phos, no question.

I don't think I understood a word of that

okay, I can work with that. lol.

basically it's more of a naturopathic approach to homeopathy. they make combinations of homeopathic remedies in very low potencies that address specific issues. so there are unda numbers specifically for drainage and detoxification. basic, run of the mill remedies in specific combinations and specific potencies to help the masses instead of having to find that one, perfect, magical remedy that changes all those things in one swoop.

I love it because it's an excellent gateway. I'm not supposed to love it and most homeopaths would cringe. But you know what? I'm not about theory, I'm about what works. If unda numbers allow people to have success that's all I care about.

So do these (the UNDA products) have a handy cheat sheet like the Biochemic Handbook? Or a helpful website that allows people to figure things out a bit more on their own?

Is BestMade the company that makes the sucrose-based cell salts--the one that has the crazy confusing website?

whoMe--thanks for asking, I was just as confused as you.

I would do Epsom salt baths in the evening. (For DS and myself, an evening soak results in a BM about 12-18 hours later. The timing might be different for your DS.)

But, you're probably already doing Epsom salt/mg stuff.

Refried beans? Those get things moving in our house. You can make your own with bone broth for added nutrition.

There is no simple book like that because unlike cell salts it's not a simple system. For them (kinda like homeopathy) you're better off with a practitioner unfortunately because you need a review of systems to use them properly....but there are some basic ones to look at and I'm sure you could purchase them yourself.

I'm just throwing them out as something I use. It would be less easy to use them yourself unlike the salts.

Bestmade has a pretty good site, I thought!

are you doing castor oil packs?!? That with epsom salt soaks would hopefully help. I would also *definitely* consider an adjustment.

I looked around on the website with the sucrose cell salts and it was, um, confusing, trying to figure out what was what. Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong site. Or maybe it was just me.

And bummer that the UNDA things aren't as easy to do on our own as cell salts are. I like cell salts--can't mess up too badly when I guess wrong, straightforward book that discusses things very clearly. I'm sure there's a lot more than I know, but I feel like I can make a nice, helpful start on my own. It is crazy hard to find really good healthcare providers.

no, its possible that it's the same one. I find it fairly easy, but maybe it's because of how my brain works. Glad it could help me out on something computer related.

The unda numbers are awesome, but you really need to understand what's showing up where and why. Like in homeopathy where you can get acutes on your own much of the time, but for deeper prescribing it's generally not worth even trying on your own.

You will be amazed at the therapeutic range of those salts. I've studied them for a decade at least and I'm always learning new things. I remember one professor that would lecture for a week on just one salt. He was brilliant and the information was astonishing...but the more you learn the more you realize there is to learn. I mean, I've read probably two dozen books on the subject, been taught in seminars and workshops as well as in classes and don't feel like I come close to knowing all that they can do. They are so underutilized and under-appreciated it's pathetic.
