Speaking about chickens...not sure where to post.

Can it go here? I really want to start raising chickens. But I need some help to get started. I've never farmed. Can someone give me the basics?

There are a TON of threads on chickens in the Country living/off the grid section. We got chickens this year for the first time, I had been waiting and reading for a few years before we were able to get them. I did a getting chickens 101 on my blog the link is in my sigg.

Yeah they constantly talk chicken in Country Living.

I'm interested in chilckens too, and have been scouring this site: http://backyardchickens.com and this http://mypetchicken.com Full of basic info you need to start.

We are very interested as well but have to work with city ordinances and we do have Fox & Coyote as well as a mean Badger around my property. I think my neighbors would have a fit too!
