I am home now - just got home on Friday night.

I am a midwife and they left it completely in my hands in which meds were decided on. It was good - but a lot of responsibility.

I am familiar with what is safe and what isn't, but with what I am suffering from, there are very few meds to use at all - let alone meds that are "safe" for a 5 week fetus.

I decided on one and am on it by IV every 8 hours. It is making me very sick, but it should only be for 2 weeks.

I have an update and unfortunately it isn't good.
I am back in the hospital with a blood clot in my arm.
I am on blood thinners to keep it from becoming a pulmonary embolism.
My doc wants to keep me on the thinners until I am term, induce me and then put me back on them.
I am devastated.
I will try to check in when I am up to it, but right now, I am emotionally worn out.
