Not just the vivid dreams, but the fact that for me, they always come in the form of nasty nightmares. Ugggh...

Oh mama I am so sorry! I wonder if there would be anything you could do to make this better??

I don't know, it's always happened to me this way in pregnancy, so I'm not sure if there's a fix since it's ONLY really in pregnancy (and IIRC, at least it only last the first half or so...). Sometimes it helps if I fall asleep while reading my Bible, but with 2 LO's in my bed sometimes that's hard to do. LOL

I am glad that reading the bible before bed seems to help at least. Too bad it is not something you can do on a regular basis with 2 LO in the bed. Must be difficult! Still..It just really stinks to have to deal with something like this at night, while pregnant and needing sleep! I am hopeful for you that this subsides after the your first tri. Good luck! Maybe you should think about talking to your doc about it..maybe they would have some suggestions!

Yeah, I think what makes it the worst is that I'm a weenie (and a little paranoid ) and I spend a LOT of nights alone since DH works 24-72 hour shifts (he's an EMT), so being at home alone and waking up from a nightmare isn't a pleasant combination.

Oh gosh...I am a weenie too so don't feel bad...I hate being home alone..especially at night. I am lucky though b/c my mom and dad live right next door to me so if DH has to be out somewhere, if I need something, They are there. I am such a chicken!! The entrance to my little apartment is around the back of our house and I hate it. I even live in a small town but, it still freaks me out a little b/c I feelike if someone tried to come in, they wouldn't be seen by anyone...see..paranoia!! LOL!!

Oh me too! My IL's are directly across the road, and we're out in the boonies but we have sort of a little country "neighborhood", so I feel safe to an extent, but I've watched too many movies and can visualize pretty much every bad thing that could possibly happen. Don't you ever think that if you had never seen half the stuff on the news/TV/movies that you have, that you wouldn't be scared? I'm sure of it.

Yes, I agree with that!! I watch a lot of crazy junk...scary movies and stuff...nothing like scaring yourself!! Like we don't have enough to think about!! I think it's worse when you have kids too b/c you have to protect them too and make sure they feel safe even if you are scared!! My son is a huge chicken...he hates to even go into a room by himself sometimes. When a commercial with anything he deems as scary comes on we have to flip the channel immediatly! Poor kid...what is the world coming to that a 10yo has to worry so much about what is scary??
