I had my first midwife appt this morning. I had just made the appt as a well-woman visit, but it turned into my first obstetric visit! It was earlier than they usually see anyone, but everything checked out good so far. (In other words, I appear to still be pregnant!)
I liked the midwife I met with--she's part of a group of 8. It'll be interesting working with such a large group. When I delivered my daughter, I worked with a midwife in solo practice.
