ME TOO MAMA!!! CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN!!!! I hope to join you over there!!!!!!!!!!!

So, I've been nauseaus all day today, after eating, before eating, eating too much, not eating enough, so tired I didn't even want to play golf this evening (not like me at all). I also have been craving very spicy food and have had heart burn for 3 days (I have to be making all this up right?) OH and the bloating that I'm getting after eating is making me super uncomfortable in my clothes, AND (I'll stop now) it's very uncomfortable when Bodie nurses. Ramblings over............................

DH made this really cool seat for Bodie to strap him onto/into the golf cart like a carseat, and he was a gem (we only played 9) and seemed to have a great time with us and the big kids love going with us too and helped with him while we were playing.

foodmachine- yep, I am oing. I have a short cycle and luteal phase, which I think is part of my problem, but I don't know if it is caused by nursing or not. I have an 8-9 day LP and O on cd 16 of my 24-25 day cycle.

I can't say what is right for your situation, but for me and my dd, I will not wean her. Lots of people get pg while nursing, some right away, and others take a while. If I wean and get pg, I'd always wonder if it would have happened anyway. Plus, weaning is no guarantee of getting pg. The best thing I can do for my dd and family is to take the best possible care of my dd, which for her, is continuing to bf.

In the meantime, I'm doing things to try and help my cycle... b6, fertilitea, and lots of positive thoughts!

Hi mamas dh and I have been talking and we are back in the TTC camp. I spent some time here a few months ago then had a change of heart. I think I'm ready again, dh definitely is
I am fairly certain I O'd yesterday - I just started temp'ing but there was a definite dip yesterday and then a rise today. We BD'd yesterday afternoon, so maybe we'll get lucky. I guess that puts me in the 2WW.

I caved in and tested today at 8 dpo - BFN . My DH just had a vas reversal about a month ago, so I'm thinking he may still not have a good sperm count as it takes a few weeks to get things moving in the right direction again.

Anyhow, here it is.... thoughts?

It comes up as a weight chart??

Wow, so now there are 4 of us from the July '08 DDC? Woohoo!

I'm still waiting to O... this is such a boring time. I've been feeling crampy since AF like I'm getting ready to O (usually feel crampy for the few days before) but I don't know if that means I'm going to O early or just be crampy and never O or O late. Not sure how my body will react to the chemical pregnancy last cycle *shrugs*

Congrats to all the BFPs!!

I have another weird question - I have been watching DH's cousin's baby for 3 days a week, 7 hours a day. She is 6 months old and won't take a bottle so I've been nursing her (cleared it with the mom, and she is totally fine with it, no worries). Will that hurt our chances for TTC? It's usually MTW of each week and she nurses 2ish times (mom tanks her up before hand and then I hold her off til she gets home). Riley still nurses a LOT (32 lbs at 12m check and 95%+ of her food comes from me) and I still got pregnant, so I'm guessing it probably isn't a huge deal but I'm not sure.

kalamos, i think for a lot of folks that once AF is here it's here and an upswing in nursing doesn't prevent it from coming back. but i'm not sure if the increase in prolactin from the increase in nursing will affect your cycle or not. it doesn't sound like she's nursing all that much, though, so probably not. how long does she nurse when she nurses? sometimes it's not how often but how much when.

anyway i think it's awesome that you are nursing your DH cousin's baby and she is totally okay with it!

I'm not sure that AF always returns for good after FPPAF. I'm sure that it continues to come, but how often? Really? I'm on day 40 or 41 of my cycle that started June 1st, and when you want to TTC the waiting part SUCKS!!! I mean, if I'm pregnant then fine, but I'm pretty sure (if I O'd) that I'm only 7-8 dpo.

YAY!!! 4 July 08 DDC'ers here!!!! Well Husker isn't really *here* she's pregnant and waiting for us to join her!!!

I fixed my home page at FF, so the link should work now.

Here's my chart:

Another BFN this a.m., but recall that I tested pos with all of my other pregnancies after 13 DPO, so no test until then.

How does my chart look - good for ovulation, how about for triphasic?

TIA!

yup -- i should have clarified better -- i meant to say that once AF is established changes in nursing doesn't usually shake things up too much. but yea probably the first few months nursing is likely to affect things more. you didn't mention in your post how long you've had AF, and i just assumed it had been for some time.. so, oops thanks for checking me, tenk

oh i think you ovulated right around when ff says. i've been reading about how CM is better indicator of O than BBT, so if that's true, it seems like you DTD right at the right time so fingers crossed for you!!!

sheesh, sorry for so many posts, can you tell DS is taking a good long nap today (FINALLY! after taking almost NO naps last week .

well, i have some spotting! so, yea, i know, i know, last month's spotting is a clear indicator of the fact that i could just be spotting [I]just cause/I]. but i am really crossing my fingers it's implantation spotting again. and trying not to get too excited about it. but it's hard not to!

I've had AF back since 3m pp and started ovulating before the next AF at 5m pp. My cycles are definitely regulating, my O date keeps getting closer and closer to normal (except for last month, Oed later and got pregnant... weird cycle) so I just don't know how this cycle will pan out. Earliest I have Oed pp has been CD 18 2 cycles ago, last cycle I Oed CD26.

I just want to second the oppinons that that is so awesome that you can nurse her baby... I always have the urge to nurse babies!! I just love the closeness

Please move me to "waiting to be ready." Apparently my cycle is still waaaaaay wacky. I just want to chill for now while it gets a bit more normal. I'll live vicariously with you guys until then.

Congrats randomacts!

And I got AF back at 5 mo PP. Ironically, it has been more regular post-pregnancy than it ever was before.

And super fantastic, DS just took off his diaper cover for the first time. Already?!

Can you put me in *waiting to be ready* please?

I have a really dumb question - where do you get the URL to link to so people can see your chart? I'd like to put my chart in my profile, but I don't think I am using the right link. I don't have a paid subscription, does that matter?

ETA: well, I think I just figured it out - does this link work? http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/24431e

And do I have to update each month or does it automatically change the chart to the current cycle?

There are no dumb questions . Yes, your link works. I can't answer the update question since it looks like I started temping the day after you. I'm new at this.

We are waiting to be ready. That was exciting to write. Now I have a big smile on my face.

Fingers crossed for you.
