Congrats! I love her name.

I had the same experience with my first birth-- the doc was very irritated that I refused pitocin right after my water had broken. I did go into labor on my own and had my daughter naturally, in a similar time span. The doc seemed surprised that such an outcome was possible.
good for you for sticking to your guns an having an awesome birth!

Sorry about the pushy nurse.
There is always at least one person who tries to push protocol in everyone without really knowing what they are talking about. Ignoring them is the best one can do.
