Anyone use cornmeal as a fungicide??

So, I'm pretty sure that my pepper plants are succombing to some sort of a fungicidal wilt. Two weeks ago, they looked wonderful. A week ago a couple suddenly wilted and died - immediatly after I hoed them, so I figured I must have just cut one or two's roots. Since then another 8-12 have started to wilt. After googling a bit, we diceded to spray them with Serenity (some sort of an organic spray for bacterial stuff - powdery/downy mildew, etc - that we've been spraying on our tomatoes & squashes for the past month or so and which seems to be working on them fantasticly!!), and then today I worked a whole bunch of cornmeal (probably close to 5#'s in 4 beds) into my beds with peppers as I read it is supposedly a natural fungicide... And I'm just wondering if anyone else has used it, and if so, if its really worked etc... Lots of thanks in advance!!

OK. After further googling... anyone use peroxide on their plants?? And anyone know where I can get 35% Hydrogen Peroxide (vs the usual 3%)??

I'd never heard of using cornmeal as a natural fungicide. I'll have to read more about it.
