"shark teeth"

My dd1 had two baby teeth that were not loose when the adult teeth emerged behind them. The baby teeth still had long roots. I went ahead and had them pulled out for cosmetic reasons. I still wonder if I had waited if they would have come out on their own just fine.

Now my dd2 has the same thing going on with one of her front bottom teeth. Do you think I should go ahead and agree with the tooth pulling, or wait? She starts K in the fall and I just don't want kids to think she looks weird, and it's also causing her some discomfort.

My brother & I both got our front bottom adult teeth well before the babies fell out. No problems - they came out when they were ready & we both have perfect teeth as adults.

Thanks! The dentist said to wiggle it a lot and it would help to dissove that baby tooth's roots faster. If it's a problem in a month or so he will think about removing it then.

And no cavities for either kid! Yeah!
