My dd1 had two baby teeth that were not loose when the adult teeth emerged behind them. The baby teeth still had long roots. I went ahead and had them pulled out for cosmetic reasons. I still wonder if I had waited if they would have come out on their own just fine.

The dentist said to wiggle it a lot and it would help to dissove that baby tooth's roots faster. If it's a problem in a month or so he will think about removing it then.
