Anybody have sibling issues with baby and older child?

What do you do when your older child (mine is almost 4) starts getting aggressive with your baby (mine is 15 months)? Sometimes my super sweet ds#1 turns into devil child with his younger brother. I don't mean too bad, but little things like tripping, splashing his face in the tub, pushing him over, yelling in his face.....things like that. I've noticed they have started to play more than usual and i think ds#1 doesn't actually understand how careful he still needs to be around his brother. He wants to play so bad with him, but he doesn't understand how to play gently with him.
I think it is a jealousy thing too and a strive for attention! And he can't stand it when ds#2 cries. It sends ds#1 into a yelling fit and he goes and hides. Then i have 2 boys making alot of noise!!!!

Are there any other sibling mommies out there with some advice on how to handle this situation?

I am going through the same thing right now with my four year old and her 9 month old sister. Before now having a baby sister wasn't much of a problem for my dd, but now that the baby is doing new things , sitting and crawling, and getting more attention for it, my dd has been a bit jealous. I've noticed her "hugging" to hard or as you said, really getting in her face.
The only thing that is helping is me trying to remember how many times a day I've said to the baby "Oh you're such a swwet girl" or "Aren't you getting all grown up?" and how hard that must be for my 4 yr.old to hear. I try to counter it with extra words of encouragement for her or play a game (without the baby) or otherwise spend more alone time with her. (not easy with a baby who never sleeps!)
This is a tough one, I really haven't figured it all out yet. Some days I do great spreading all the attention around evenly; other days I feel I'm short changing some body. What a balancing act, hmm?
Good luck and let me know if you come up with something. I could use some advice myself!

Abe is nearly 1 1/2 yo and his 47 mo old bros still say "Put that baby back in your belly!" or "I don't love little brother. He's MEAN!"

I haven't found a solution, except to repeat that we love our whole family and that Abe is here forever and we love all babies in our family....
