I've been abused...

... by my unborn child.

I thought your children weren't suppose to start abusing you until they hit teenage years? I don't understand what made her start in the WOMB.
Oiye... I got the **** beat out of me last night... literally! I feel like I should have big purple bruises on my belly. I swear you could hear this monster singing "Every body loves kungfu fighting..." *POW* *BAM* *JAB* *SMASH* ... for two hours while I was attempting to sleep.

I tried gently patting my belly and saying "it's okay baby, calm down". SHE didn't like that at all! *WHACK* *SLAP* *KICK* Okay.. so I rolled over, maybe she didn't like the position I was in? Nope, got to see an elbow slide from one side of my belly to the other... owwwww.....

Then she start head butting my poor cervix. That STILL hurts this morning. I'm not kidding in the least when I say I could feel her punching and pommeling my poor cervix.

I feel like my internal organs should be bloody soup this morning. In fact, they kinda feel like it too...

Oh by the way.........

GET HER OUT OF ME!!!!!

I am SO with you! A thunderstorm in the middle of the night with loud and close thunder kind of woke up the little one and made him jerk around. Blah!

Sounds just like my LO!
And btw, he/she did NOT get the memo that babies slow down their movement close to the due date! If anything, the kicks and punches are worse now than before!

I sometimes wake up in the middle of the night thinking we are having an earthquake.

Nope, it's jsut the stinker moving. He apparently did not get the memo about slowing down in the later weeks of pregnancy either!

I hear you too! Sometimes I have to get DH to come over and calm him down. Something about DH seems to work. I've ended up feeling bruised too. Didn't have any visible bruises, but had spots that were sore for days.

I thought kids like that were a fluke after my first. Like surely this was just HER and wouldn't happen again... Well her little sister is the same if not worse. Both pregnancies, I've literally had bruising that is visible on the outside of my belly from these kids.

Glad I don't have twins - can you imagine if there were two of them in there going at it all night????

My youngest was just like this one in the womb (she kicked the laptop off my belly several times even!). She is a crazy wild little toddler! Has always been super active.

My oldest on the other hand was super mellow in the womb. She has always been mellow and still is.

My first never did settle down and from the looks of it she never will... sorry. I'm fearing the worst with this one. I can't handle two children that intense. DD is a smart kiddo though if it's any consolation - she really is very alert!

oh, so funny.... we nicknamed my little girl "jetjet" while she was still in the womb because she always felt like a tiny airplane crashing into the sides of my uterus (and her name is juliet)... she never let me sleep, or anything

but when she came out she was so sweet and calm. everyone commented on how mch of a lady she was- and there is really no other way to describe it. she was very ladylike, her hands were always together (as if in prayer) or very delicately reaching out for me. and she has had from the beginning the most precious little rosebud lips. in spite of her crazy womb antics, she has so far been what people call an "easy" baby.

of course, now that she is six-months old, she's a little more demanding... but still so sweet. congratulations
