I just finished this book and wanted to share.
A single journalist while covering a story meets a one year old boy, basically abandoned in the hospital while recovering from heart surgery. Throughout the course of covering the story, she has fallen in love and just can't get him out of her mind, and discovers that there is the potential to adopt him. Two years later as she is opening the mail, she comes across a card for missing and exploited children with an age progressed photo of a 3-year-old that looks uncannily like her son. Being the curious soul that she is who cannot get the photo out of her head, she begins to look into the adoption and the parents who gave him up.
I found this to be a very emotional book. I do get caught up in books when I read them, but not quite the emotional tugging of this one. Very often I could be found with my eyes swimming with tears, with my heart in my throat, or jumping for joy.
