We recently moved to the Geneva area. Technically we are living in Gex France but I figured I would post here because it is the nearest city. If anyone is interested in meeting up for playgroups or picnics. I don't speak french yet so a language exchange would be great. My dd is 2 and a half and I am expecting #2 at the end of August.

Have you tried the yahoo group Lausanne kids? There is probably one for Geneva too but the Lausanne group has members from all over the lake area.
