SO uncomfortable!!

Oh man, yesterday was the first day of being desperately uncomfortable. My pelvis aches all over. Bones, ligaments, tendons, and tissue. OUCH! I walk like an old woman. And I have a ruptured disc higher in my back that was causing me massive pain yesterday too. Add to that the rectal pressure which somehow caused a huge hemorrhoid without me even straining. And now a hot flash that woke me up.... I am one big ball of OUCH! I can't believe that unlike many of you I might have another month (or more) of this. *sigh*

Sorry, I just had to complain, and I know of no one other than you all who would understand.

Oh yeah, and it is my birthday today. I am 35. Which officially makes me "advanced maternal age". LOL!

Well HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

I'm sorry you are in pain. I have been walking like an old lady for a while now. I feel like someone is trying to pull me apart most of the time. And then when I feel better, I get mad because I want it to mean LABOR!! Hang in there mama, try to have a good day.

I nearly escaped the "AMA" label - my birthday is in the fall!
DH looked at me yesterday and said"do you need a cane?" I said that maybe a walker would be better because it would provide more stability! LOL! I have to say that I really can't believe the aches and pains - I had no idea I would be THIS uncomfortable. I only went to 35 weeks with DS and I thought that was bad! Boy, I had no idea.

Hang in there, Mama! Not much longer!

Happy birthday mama!!

I am sorry you are so uncomfortable!! One day all these aches and pain will be a distant memory (even though it feels like it's never gonna happen)

I hope you feel better today and have a great birthday!

Happy Birthday!!! I hear ya about being uncomfortable, but I cannot even fathom having a ruptured disc on top of being so huge and pregnant. I know exactly what that feels like, and man is it NOT FUN!! Are you going to be okay to labor with that ruptured disc? I know that I was in pain for months with mine and like you said--it was massive. Even the slightest movements would trigger it. Sending hugs!!

Thanks everyone. I am going to try to focus on getting more stuff ready for the baby today. Yesterday that seemed to keep my mind off the pain mostly. Organizing drawers of clothes, etc. I know my daughter had my husband take her to the store last night to get things for my birthday. I'm not sure what but I know SOMETHING is coming. LOL!

Katy, I ruptured my disc when I was 12. It was a combination of a congenital weakness with strain I was putting on it. I was in pain for months but it 'healed' fairly well. I normally don't have much pain from it at all. One blessing of having it happen when I was so young. It will flare up and ache off and on, but hasn't hurt this bad in years. When I was pregnant with my daughter it hurt too, but it was the only hurt I had. I guess being 23 is easier on your body when being pregnant. LOL!

I hear ya, on all fronts.
It's not just uncomfortable to roll over anymore, it's actually painful.

I feel like someone punched me in the groin. My dh claims it wasn't him.

I FEEL like I'm advanced maternal age, even though I'll only be 32 this summer. Heck, just saying "only be 32" makes me feel old!

And, I also could have month left of this. I took a poll on Facebook, and my friends are all banking on the end of the month. I told them I don't think that's very nice! I'm still being optimistic that it will be this weekend (yeah right).

Happy Birthday!!!! I'm sure you can already tell that there are plenty of us who are in the same boat as you are. I wish I could just live in a swimming pool until birth, my whole body aches too.

We took ds to the waterpark this morning. I promptly waded to the deeper end of the pool, and it was SO nice. Like all the weight was taken off my belly. W O N D E R F U L .

Then I walked out. Gravity is just plain cruel. I had to waddle directly to the bathroom, evidently my bladder filled up while in the pool and the pressure was almost too much when I got out, I almost didn't make it. :

I saw an old man walking down the street with his walker the other day... I had to strongly suppress the urge to chase him down and steal his walker. Odds were that he'd out run me anyways...

Even though it sucks that we're all feeling crummy and in pain, I'm glad to know that other mamas are in the same boat. This is the first pregnancy where I've actually physically suffered, and it's HARD! Soon, soon. to everyone!
