Prepping new diapers

I am washing my new diapers 5 times, but do I need to dry them in the dryer 5 times or can I just keep running them through the wash?

I always thought you were supposed to dry them in between the washes, that is what I have always done anyway... not entirely sure tho!!

I have always just run them through the wash, and maybe sun dried them once or twice during. It has worked for me, but I'm not sure if it's what you're SUPPOSED to do!

I think you're supposed to dry them. I just got a new stash of prefolds yesterday and am going through the wash/dry right now. Total pain but I just plan on throwing them in with all my loads of laundry until they're done - and just going light on the detergent in those loads.

Hmmmm....IIRC I washed them maybe 2-3 times, then dried, then did that again.
