Same here! And I might try to get an Amby off of craigslist, but we'll see.

Best way to keep from getting random crap is to register. Seriously. Then you can say to people, I'd LOVE to get stuff off my registry!! (Registry tip: I found more "crunchy" stuff at Target than even Babies R Us, so I just registered there. They have slings, wooden toys, great carseats, etc. I didn't even bother with Babies R Us.)

Cribs are VERY good cloth diaper storage. Especially when you have a borderline addiction and have WAY too many. :

We've done....... nothing. We're still in shock. We're also not finding a gender and have everything for our DS, so odds are we won't buy anything for this little bean. OH, and we're also moving, so we don't want to accumulate stuff before we move.

*gulp*

Oh, crap. My VW Beetle is NOT going to fit two carseats in the back. DS's carseat barely fits, and you can't get in on the side he's on. I think I'm hyperventilating.

My mother in law bought us a pack n play monday afternoon its one I really wanted its 100% organic cotton and very plain and gender neutral . we have our amby bed left from DS and i have my sling and meitai ... we will be getting a car seat , cloth diapers and if its a girl we will be needing clothing other than that I don't think we will be buying much I still have my boppy , my friend gave me a breast pump that was hardly used I just have to get new *parts* ... I don't really plan on having to pump often so that was more of a want than necessity .. oh and btw I am due March 8 .. ... we arent even going to have this baby a nursery they will share our room and DS's room

This is my 5th. As such, I'm being very lazy about the whole thing. I pretty much know what I want already, since my youngest is only 11 months old, but I'm keeping my fiance in the decision making process. So far we've agreed on everything

I would advice you wait a bit on buying though, unless you see something in a color/pattern you just HAVE to have. I bought too early and then regretted it when 3 months later, they had a new pattern I was in love with

I need a double McClaren and a streamlined diaper system. I like the Gro Baby ones. Those two things alone are going to set me back about $1000, so that's probably ALL I'll be able to get for this kiddo.

(unless it's a GIRL!

The only thing we have to buy is a carseat and a Moby wrap. We won't even necessarily need to buy the carseat right off the bat as my SIL has offered her baby bucket to us, and it was just bought a year ago and she's a nut about keeping things clean so we know it's in great shape.

We've got plenty of cloth diapers left over from the last two babes and a friend of mine just offered to give me her 2 dozen barely used Haute Pockets for free. :

There's really nothing else. I've got a breast pump and bottles, our car will seat 7 (*gulp* 7?!), we'll cosleep, and have plenty of clothes being offered by friends. We've also been offered a swing and bouncy seat, so that's done, and my parents have a pack and play that they keep at their house that I can use to keep baby safe from interested toddler siblings if mama has to leave the room.

What I WANT is another story.

I want an Amby bed and to get to buy a bunch of new clothes just for this bean. I also want to have professional belly shots done because I didn't get to with the other kids and I'd like it once.

Good grief look at all those LOLs. Can you tell I'm giddy?

Sehbub, it's wonderful to be so giddy!! If you can't be jumping for joy at this point in life, at the start of a miracle, then you never can. :
