DH laughed at me, like full-on belly-laughed in the store at me-- because instead of getting the tiny jar of pickles like I have the last couple weeks (and ran out in 2-3 days), I instead got the ginormous, economy sized 2 quart jar of pickles!

Although today, while I sat with my handful of pickles from my super-sized jar, DD decided she wanted to have some ice cream, and share it with me. I made a real point of putting away my pickles before I got the ice cream, so no one could say I was being a stereotype!!

Blueberries!!! I have eaten pints and pints of them in the past 2 weeks. I always love blueberries (my favorite food!) but this is crazy! Pretty soon the ones on my grandfathers farm will be ripe (he owns a pick-your-own farm) and I can have as many as I can pick. Yay!!!!

This whole pregnancy so far it's been olives. Stuffed pimento olives, martini olives, garlic stuffed olives, jalapeno stuffed olives, feta stuffed olives, mostly green olives. OMG I can't get enough. This baby will come out hating olives for the rest of his/her life lol

I was going over our food buying club order (bulk hippie food ) and my DH laughed at me when I asked if 4 lbs. of cherries was enough!

I can eat a lot of any fruit right now, nectarines, strawberries, blueberries, mangos, you name it! And nutritional yeast "cheese sauce" with pasta. It's like a healthy "nacho cheese" sauce. mmmmmmmm....

I don't know what we'll have for dinner, probably a veggie soup since DH made a huge pot of veggie stock last night. So I need to get on it and make some bread!

Oh and pumpkin... I've had a weird craving for pumpkin bread.

And pickles, yeah, I can eat a whole jar.

Seriously, where do you find a man like that? Does he have a brother? Ummm, yeah, I am sort of married, but just curious.

I had no idea that he loved to cook so much when we got married (other then he used to make muffins a lot when we were in college, and brownies, and I used to tease him gently about it).

But the man loves to cook. He will come home from work and cook to unwind . I'm always feeling guilty about it, and ask him a million times if he wants me to make dinner, etc. But he loves it.

I do bake all the bread and make lunch and breakfast for everyone (including packing DH's lunch) so I'm not that much of a slouch I guess, but it is a nice hobby for a DH to have!

yummm

Glad I'm not the only pickle nut lately... I just got some of the zesty bread and butter chips and OOOOH my god I'm hooked! Ate a whole jar in one sitting and watched hubby's eyes bug out when he saw the empty jar (hehe - the day after we went shopping)

I am so jealous. My husband could burn water and has zero interesting in cooking. He'll eat anything I put in front of him, but I have to cook because he's content to eat random nasty stuff out of the package.

I want to eat everything all the time. So far I have not blimped out too much, so I must be eating what I need to eat, but I'm literally eating twice the amount I usually do and it's weird. Not to mention high maintenance.
