SIL washed BGs!

My SIL was nice enough to watch DS for the day yesterday, and was also nice enough to wash his clothes with her laundry... including his BGs. I'm pretty sure she used fabric softener and regular detergent. (They smell delicious though!). How can I politely ask her not to wash the dipes?

I'd just thank her and ask her not to use fabric softener because it causes them to not be absorbant. Rewash if necessary.

I would phrase it like you are trying to save her from the extra troubles it takes to do it - like "Thanks so much for washing her stuff. The diapers really take some special care, certain detergent, etc - and I don't want to give you the hassle. Just leave them for me and I'll take care of that!"

You may or may not need to strip them, I'd wait and see if you have problems.

You can thank her for her help with his clothes and put the diaper laundry on yourself... "I'm so funny about diaper laundry. Don't worry yourself with it. I actually enjoy doing it."
