Wipes store dry or in a solution?

Ive been using cloth wipes ever since I started CDing a few weeks ago (which BTW I love).
But I was curious to know how you use your wipes?
I currently keep my wipes dry and just wet them either with water or with a mixture of water and castille soap.

I was thinking about using an old disposable wipes container to leave my cloth wipes in with the solution, but I was worried if theres any negitive sides to letting them sit in soap water?

So tell me all about your cloth wipes.

I typically have about 2 days' worth of wipes pre-soaked and ready to go in an old Pampers wipes container. I use a wipes solution (Baby Bits) and I am sure you could do the same with water or a water/soap solution.

DD is now almost 4, but I still keep it going on top of the toilet tank, because they're great for feeling fresh after using the toilet - I use them too!

Kept dry and moistened with water, as needed.

I would just try to get a feel for how often you use them. I do the same as you are suggesting, I just try not to leave more than like one day wet in there, because I don't want to deal with them getting musty.

I keep them dry and send one of the kids to wet them in the sink if she is dirty.

ETA: You could get a spray bottle of water and add some solution to it and keep it next to your changing area.

I keep them dry and I wet them in the sink before changing the baby. I like that I warm them up a bit with tap water.

I always kept them dry and moistened them as needed, unless we were going out somewhere. Then I'd pre-wet a handful and put them either in a small zipper wet bag or a Ziploc bag.

Yeah I use a Peri bottle now to wet them since spray bottles just don't get them wet enough for me, that and I wipe him down after every change. I was just curious as to if and how others use them.

I use a wipe warmer and wipe solution cubes. DS hasn't had any nasty diaper rashes since we started doing that. Keep your fingers crossed!

We keep a stack on the shelf in the bathroom and wet them with hot water at the time of each change. By the time it's used on DS's bottom 30 seconds later, it's warm and not hot anymore. We hang them over the laundry basket to dry before tossing in b/c we noticed some mildew or mold if we threw the wet wipe in and it got buried but not washed for a few days. We use a diaper service so we wash our own wipes.

Our wipes are flannel from JoAnn fabrics that we cut to size.

I have a wipes warmer (prince lionheart) and I put a squirt of burts bees wash in the warmer with enough water for 2 days. sometimes a drop of burts bees apricot oil too. Then just wet the wipes in there (store dry).

I store 1-2 days worth of wet wipes in the warmer. I tried putting just the wipes solution in the warmer, but it never actually warmed up.

Dry with my wipes solution in the fridge. The older she gets, the less we use.

I do the spray bottle method as well.I keep the wipes dry and have a spray bottle full of water with 2 drop of tea tree oil and 1 drop of lavender essential oil added. I wet the wipes as needed.

I use a wipes warmer and just plain water and it works great I never thought I'd use a wipes warmer, but I really do love it! As does my LO!!

I also put water in the wipes warmer, and wet the wipes as needed. I used to use Monkey Butt Soap Bits, but now I just put a squirt of castile soap. I wash the warmer out periodically.

I know that when I've left clothes in the washer overnight, they start to smell musty in the morning, so I wouldn't want to have wet wipes sitting around for a couple of days.

i dont use them much as DD is PLing. i didnt use them often before except with a BM or she was stinky. but now that iwill be CDing a newborn, i have been thinking about storing some wet. b/c every time you change a BF NB, you have BF poop. and you have to wash that off.
