Is Calphalon ok or not?

I have both tephalon and calphalon cookware. I'm definitely going to get rid of the tephalon pans but I can't find much on calphalon. Is it ok or how bad is it?

I have Calphalon. From what I understand, it's OK until the surface starts to wear and you can see the silver-colored aluminum underneath. We've had ours for about 10 years and are starting to replaces them. They wouldn't be my choice if I had to do it again, but I certainly feel much safer using them than I would with Teflon!

(By the way--I'm assuming that you're talking about the hard anodized Calphalon. If it's a nonstick surface, it's still nonstick. They might use a different chemical than Teflon, but it's still a chemical formulation. I would look into replacing them, if only with an inexpensive stainless steel if you can't afford anything else.)

Yes, it is the infused anodized. I may supplement with some pieces but I need to prioritize what to replace first.
